An accomplishment? Yes!
A tough end to their season of hard work?
Also yes.
Have you noticed that sports mirror life?
Practice makes you better.
You work hard and show up for your team mates.
You win as a team.
You lose as a team.
If you don’t show up, nothing happens. The show goes on without you. No devastating losses, but no incredible pride in the wins either.
And really…where’s the fun in that?
