I’m in Chicago this week – not the postcard-worthy Michigan Avenue version – it’s the airport, tarmac and terminal version.
Doesn’t matter. Know why?
I spent two days with some of the coolest people. Other entrepreneurs committed to living and working with purpose, to continually growing and supporting each other in the effort. This was my first time meeting this crew and I now have more friends who operate at a frequency where I see the most growth and greatest opportunity, who make me want to show up as my best self and make me feel like I’m already there.
They say…
- Proximity is power.
- Your vibe attracts your tribe.
- You rise to the level of the company you keep.
I don’t know who ‘they’ is, but they is right.
I like to think of it as plugging back into the highest, best-energy, best-self charging station.
Watch out world, I’m ready to launch!
And that begs the question, what do we do the rest of the time? When we’re surrounded by…
The naysayers
The energy vampires
Or even worse…the apathetic and indifferent
I don’t know about you, but I can feel the drain when the energy is off…the strong pull of the ho hum.
In that case, I commit to raising the frequency – to being the lighthouse, not the anchor. How about you?
And if you’re committed to just floating…please float in someone else’s orbit.
I don’t have time for you.
After all, you can’t fly with eagles if you’re running with turkeys.
